Thailand:
Common places to visit are Phuket, Chiang Mai and Bangkok. The official language of Thailand is Thai

Phuket is an island of coves and bays. It is the leading island holiday destination in Southeast Asia, and travelers come to enjoy some fun, sun, great seafood, great water sports and a taste of the warm welcome that is synonymous with Thai culture.

Chiang Mai is considered the Rose of the North. Chiang Mai means "new city" and was founded by King Mengrai in 1296. It became the capital of the Lannathai kingdom, following Chiang Rai. This Rose of the North is a beautiful city with a long history and age-old traditions. Along with breathtaking scenery, colorful hill tribes and world-famous arts and crafts, visitors can still enjoy traces of the ancient Lanna Kingdom. Chiang Mai is located in North Thailand on the Ping River, close to the Myanmar border. The city is 800 km from Bangkok.

Bangkok is also called The City of Angels. This City of Angels is a thriving commercial center set in the heart of Southeast Asia. Famous for its Buddhist temples, tasty Thai cuisine and wonderful service, it is easy to understand why so many visitors keep coming back to the Land of Smiles. You’ll see hear the loud three wheeled taxis zooming up and down the streets. They’re called Tuk Tuks named after the noise they make. Jump into one, noisy but they’re quite the ride!

Did you know that Bangkok is sinking at the alarming rate of 2 inches/5 centimeters per year?

TVC a must see:
The Grand Palace. Was constructed in the 18th century during the reign of King Rama I, the palace is an outstanding example of the blending of classic Thai architecture with more modern Western styles.

Tiger Temple. You’ll find this temple deep in the heart of western Thailand in the Kanchanaburi province. This Buddhist temple holds a difference. Over the last 7 years it has become a sanctuary for tigers. They keep numerous animals, among them several tame tigers that can be petted by tourists.
